Jennifer Sablinskis B.A, B.AppSci (Health Sciences)
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Sciences) with majors in Linguistics, Psychology, Disability Studies and Exercise Behaviour, from Deakin University. Whilst completing her undergraduate studies, Jennifer began working as a Discrete Trial Instructor late 2004 with a young child diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. Jennifer came onto the IEC team early 2005 and works with several children receiving home and school based ABA programs as one of IEC's Senior Therapists. Jennifer has also worked as an integration aide in a kindergarten and TAFE setting and is experienced at Facilitated Communication with Augmented Communication Devices. Jennifer has played a large role in the set up, coordination and running of IEC’s weekly social skills groups ‘Playdaze’ involving ongoing and individualised programs focusing on developing and generalising children’s social skills based on previously mastered skills. Jennifer is also one of IEC's staff trainers.
Cassandra Muscat B.A Psychology
Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) from Deakin University. She is currently furthering her study with intentions of one day attaining her honors and her masters/doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has always had an interest with working with children but became passionate about Autism when a family member was found to be on the spectrum. She currently enjoys providing therapy for families both at school and in the home-based environments. Cassandra is also currently IEC's Therapist Coordinator.
